The Embassy offered an Argentine wine tasting featuring labels from Bodegas Argento, Rutini, and 2456, which are not currently available on the South African market.

The tasting was guided by South African sommelier Mary Lyn Rath, who shared insights into Argentine wine and the labels and wineries presented throughout the evening.

Guests also enjoyed a traditional Argentine dinner at Che Argentine Grill, offering a taste of Argentina’s culinary traditions alongside its wines.

The Embassy continues to work actively with the goal of generating greater exports to South Africa and the broader Southern African region.
