From 12 to 15 May, Argentine companies took part in NAMPO 2026, one of the leading agricultural exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere, organized by Grain SA at NAMPO Park in Bothaville, Free State Province.
At this year’s edition, representatives from Apache, Roland H, Gimetal and Biogénesis Bagó participated in an institutional stand coordinated by Expoagro, showcasing Argentina’s capabilities in agricultural machinery, implements, agri-tech and animal health.
In addition, Grupo Don Mario, Ombú and Franco Fabril were represented through their distributors, while other companies and consortia such as Super Walter and ArgenTech Group attended the event in search of new local partners.
South African Minister of Agriculture, John Steenhuisen, visited the Argentine stand on two occasions, where he met with Argentina’s Ambassador to South Africa, Raul Ailan, and learned more about the activities of the Argentine companies participating in the exhibition.
Argentina’s participation in NAMPO is particularly significant due to its continuity. After approximately two decades of sustained presence at the fair, Argentina continues to reaffirm its role as a provider of technological solutions adapted to extensive production systems. This trajectory facilitates the identification of local partners and contributes to strengthening commercial ties in agricultural machinery, biotechnology, seeds, implements and animal health.
This participation once again highlighted Argentina’s potential as a strategic partner for agro-industrial development, technological innovation and the strengthening of productive ties with South Africa.
