Argentina Promotes Investment and Business Opportunities at African Energy Week and African Mining Week

The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in South Africa carried out an extensive programme of institutional and business activities during African Energy Week and African Mining Week, held in Cape Town, aimed at showcasing Argentina's productive capabilities, identifying business opportunities and strengthening relations with key stakeholders in the energy and mining sectors.

During both events, Ambassador Raúl Ailán participated in industry discussions and highlighted Argentina's mining potential, outlining the country's investment opportunities and the main features of the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI).

The Embassy also held meetings with companies, industry associations and other sector representatives to explore opportunities for cooperation, trade and investment.

As part of this agenda, the Embassy provided institutional support to Argentine companies Dosivac and Galileo, advanced discussions with Sasol regarding opportunities in Argentina's energy sector, and strengthened engagement with relevant organisations, including the Industrial Gas Users Association of South Africa and the African Energy Chamber.

These activities are part of the Embassy's ongoing economic and trade promotion efforts to expand Argentina's presence in the South African market and create new opportunities for the internationalisation of Argentine companies.
