The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in South Africa announces the opening of the call for entries for the 2026 Chaco International Sculpture Biennial, which will take place from July 11 to 19, 2026, in Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina.

The jury will select 10 sculptors from different countries, who will work on a work with a free theme for 7 consecutive days, in accordance with established regulations.

Registration for the competition will be held exclusively through the following website until November 30, 2025: www.bienaldelchaco.org.

The Chaco International Sculpture Biennial was declared of cultural interest by the Organization of American States (OAS), has been sponsored by the National Academy of Arts and the National Fund for the Arts, and is recognized by the Argentine Association of Art Critics. It has also won the Konex Award for Argentine visual arts. It has been sponsored by UNESCO since 1997.
