The 2024 edition of the Diversitas Festival was held in August and September. Diversitas is a Hispanic festival that has been held for 4 years in South Africa and is promoted by the Chilean Embassy in this country.

The festival had two parts. First, a Film Festival, held every Friday in August, at the independent cinema The Bioscope, in the city of Johannesburg.

Second, a fair open to the public where countries set up institutional stands with tourist information, drinks and typical foods. That day there were also musical numbers from each participating country.

Argentina participated in the Film Festival with the film Blondi, by Dolores Fonzi, on August 30th, while it had a stand showcasing tourist information, tourism promotional videos and videos of “Argentina in Fortnite” during the Fair. Likewise, mate cocido, alfajores and fernet with coca cola were offered, along with explanatory brochures.

As part of the afternoon's cultural program, the milonga "Milonga Milonguita" offered a demonstration and initial tango class for the attendees.

On the other hand, the Argentine artist Oriana Pérez Casanova exhibited paintings with landscapes of South America.
