The Argentine national rugby team (Los Pumas) will face the Springbok team at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday 17th August at 17.05hs, for a one-off friendly match, which also serves as both teams’ last encounter before the start of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan on September 20th.

Today, H.E. the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Alberto D’Alotto, officially welcomed the players and the coaching team at the Argentine Residence, with an asado (Argentine braai), along with local authorities, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the South African Rugby Association and Embassy personnel.

The Pumas arrived in Pretoria on Tuesday 13th, after facing the Springboks in Salta, Argentina, last Saturday for the 2019 Rugby Championship and are training in TuksSports Campus.
